Whatever is going on with your RV
We buy RVs in Houston from owners who want a direct sale without managing listings, showings or a consignment agreement. Cash For RV is a Houston buy-only RV buyer. We do not sell, consign or rent RVs, so our conversation stays focused on buying yours, not putting you into another one.
You may have an RV sitting in storage, a motorhome that stopped running or a loan payment for something you no longer use. We consider every RV type and a wide range of conditions throughout Greater Houston. You get an offer you can accept or decline, with no fees, commissions or obligation.
The short version
- We consider every RV type, including damaged, non-running and end-of-life units.
- Your offer depends on the RV’s details and condition, with no fees or commissions.
- At signing, we pay, handle title paperwork and any lender payoff, then remove the RV at no cost.
We buy RVs in Houston directly from owners
Selling directly means you deal with the buyer rather than someone advertising your RV on your behalf. We review the details and photos you provide, make a cash offer, often the same day, and arrange a quick in-person look wherever the RV sits in Greater Houston.
Our explanation of how selling to us works covers the full process. The important distinction is simple: you decide whether our offer works for you before committing. Some units may not be a fit, and we will tell you honestly rather than promise a purchase we cannot make.
A direct offer versus a private listing or consignment
A private sale gives you control over your asking price and negotiations. It also puts photography, messages, appointments and buyer screening on your schedule. You may get a higher amount, but an asking price is not a completed sale.
Consignment puts the marketing with someone else, usually in exchange for a commission under an agreement. A direct buyer offers a different tradeoff: you evaluate one purchase offer without waiting for another owner to choose your RV. Compare cash offers, consignment and private sales based on your available time, likely proceeds and willingness to manage the sale. We buy directly and do not provide consignment services.
Your RV does not have to be clean or road-ready
We consider Class A gas and diesel motorhomes, Class C and Super C models, Class B camper vans, travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, pop-up and hybrid campers, and truck campers. Our guide to the RVs we buy also explains the situations owners bring to us.
Condition matters to the offer, but damage does not automatically rule out a conversation. We consider clean, worn, flood-damaged, non-running and end-of-life units. Tell us about leaks, soft floors, missing parts or mechanical problems before the visit so we can review the RV accurately.
Houston’s humidity, hot summers and heavy rain make water intrusion important to disclose. Photos of staining, damaged seams and affected compartments help us understand what happened. You do not need to make the RV look better than it is.
We come to the RV throughout Greater Houston
Our service area is Greater Houston only, covering Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Brazoria, Galveston, Waller and Chambers counties. Whether your RV is at home, a storage lot, an RV park or a repair shop, share its location when you contact us. You can check where we buy around Houston before arranging a visit.
Access matters as much as the address. Let us know about locked gates, narrow driveways, flat tires, missing keys or storage-office requirements. Those details help us plan the in-person look and removal. After signing and payment, we tow or drive the RV away at no cost to you.
What goes into a fair cash offer
An offer should reflect the RV you actually have, not just its original price or a similar-looking listing. We review its type, year, make, model, condition and known damage. For motorhomes, mileage and whether it runs also matter. Our RV value guide explains why two similar units can receive different offers.
If the in-person look matches your description, the offer stands. If we find something significant that was not disclosed, we explain what we found and why the number changes. You can walk away. There are no fees or commissions to subtract from the agreed purchase amount, although a lender payoff can affect what you receive.
What to have ready before asking for an offer
You do not need a polished listing or professional photographs. Clear information helps us give a useful response and reduces surprises during the visit. If you cannot find a document or do not know whether something works, say so rather than guessing.
- Year, make, model and RV type, plus mileage for a motorhome.
- Exterior and interior photos, including visible damage or water intrusion.
- The RV’s location, access restrictions and whether it runs or rolls.
- Title or registration status and whether a lender holds a lien.
Payment, lender payoffs and Texas title paperwork
At signing, we pay by cashier’s check, bank transfer or cash and handle the title paperwork and any lender payoff. If you have a loan, we can pay the lender directly and you receive any equity. If you owe more than our offer, you must cover the difference at closing. We do not make loans. Read about selling an RV with a loan before requesting payoff details from your lender.
Under TxDMV requirements, you sign the title with the sale date and, for motorized vehicles, the odometer reading, plus Form 130-U showing the sales price. Remove your license plates, which stay with you. You should also file the free online Vehicle Transfer Notification, Form VTR-346, within 30 days to protect yourself from tickets, tolls and liability after the sale.
The buyer must title the vehicle within 30 days and pays Texas motor vehicle sales tax when titling, not the seller. Title work goes through the county tax assessor-collector office; confirm requirements with that office or TxDMV. Ready to start? Request a cash offer for your RV with its details and photos.

Questions Houston RV owners ask us
Can I sell my RV if I lost the Texas title?
A missing title does not necessarily end the conversation, but tell us before scheduling a visit. A certified copy of a lost Texas title is requested from TxDMV using Form VTR-34. Confirm the requirements with TxDMV, especially if a lender is involved, so you know what must be resolved before signing.
What if the RV belonged to a family member who died?
Tell us who is named on the title and what estate paperwork is available. If the owner died without a will and no probate is opened, heirs may be able to use Form VTR-262, subject to TxDMV conditions. With a will, probate is generally required. Confirm your authority to sell with TxDMV or an attorney.
Does every travel trailer need a Texas title?
No. Texas requires titles for trailers, including travel trailers, with a gross weight over 4,000 pounds. Trailers at 4,000 pounds or less need registration, while a title is optional. Share the paperwork you have and confirm the applicable requirements with TxDMV or your county tax office rather than assuming a missing title is a problem.
Should I pay for cleaning or repairs before contacting you?
You can contact us with the RV in its current condition. We consider worn and damaged units, so professional detailing or repairs are not a requirement for requesting an offer. Describe known problems and include clear photos. That lets us evaluate the RV as it sits before you decide whether to spend more money on it.
My lender holds an electronic title. Can you still consider the RV?
Yes, tell us about the loan and electronic title when you contact us. Texas has an electronic lien and title program, so a lender-held electronic title is not the same as a lost paper title. Lienholders must release a lien within 10 days of receiving payoff. Confirm the payoff and release arrangements with your lender.
